Biography

Boney M. was the creation of the German producer Frank Farian. On the first single "Baby, Do You Wanna Bump" (1975), Farian performed all vocals himself. The group was formed only after a performing troupe was needed for TV appearances. The most well-known lineup was soon formed: Marcia Barrett, Bobby Farrell, Liz Mitchell, and Maizie Williams. Reggie Tsiboe replaced Farrell in 1982.
