Biography

When the Geto Boys came together in 1986, though, it was with a completely different lineup. Formed as "The Ghetto Boys" in Houston by rap entrepreneur James Smith. The group originally consisted of Raheem, Sir Rap-A-Lot, and The Slim Jukebox. That line-up released only a 12'' single "Car Freak" before Raheem and K9/Sir Rap A Lot quitting. New members

Prince Johnny C. and DJ Ready Red would join and they would release "You Ain't Nothing/I Run This". After that release dancer/hypeman Little Billy was added.
