Biography

Irish rock band formed in 1969 in Dublin. The band took this name at the suggestion of Eric Bell, derived from the character 'Tin Lizzie' in the comic "The Beano" which Bell had been reading during rehearsals. They made their debut performance at St. Anthony's Hall, Dublin in January 1970. They made their UK concert debut at The Speakeasy on 20 March 1971.
